Agilent N9030A Error Messages
Condition (status) errors for the Keysight / Agilent N9030A PXA signal analyzer (3.6 to 50 GHz depending on option). Each error has a "cleared" twin numbered +1000 (for example 509 / 1509).
N9030A notes
- Options 503–526 use the 0–4 dB and 0–66 dB attenuator pair; 543/544/550 use the 0–10 dB and 0–60 dB pair and their own front end and preselector.
- Many N9030A numbers replace older PSA numbers (for example Align Now, All was 64 on the PSA and is still 64 here).
N9030A hardware and alignment errors

| 40 | TG Alignment Failure | Tracking generator alignment failed. |
| 42 | RF Alignment Failure | RF alignment failed: check the A13 front end and the internal 50 MHz calibrator path. |
| 44 | IF Alignment Failure | IF alignment failed: A2 analog IF or A3 digital IF. |
| 46 | LO Alignment Failure | LO alignment failed: A14 synthesizer or A20 YTO. |
| 48 | ADC Alignment Failure | ADC alignment failed: A3 digital IF. |
| 60 | Align Now, RF required | Run Align Now, RF. |
| 64 | Align Now, All required | Run Align Now, All. Recurring after a good alignment means a hardware fault. |
| 141 | Input Overload | Too much signal at the IF/ADC. Add attenuation; with no input applied it points to the A13 front end or A2 analog IF. |
| 403 | Source Unleveled | Tracking source cannot hold level. |
| 419 | Preselector Overload | Overload at the A12 YTF preselector path. |
| 501 | Source Synth Unlocked | Tracking source synthesizer unlocked. |
| 503 | Frequency Reference Unlocked | Reference loop unlocked: A16 reference assembly or the external reference. |
| 505 | 2nd LO Unlocked | 2nd LO unlocked: A13 front end / A16 reference. |
| 509 | LO Unlocked | 1st LO unlocked: A14 synthesizer, A20 YTO, A15 front end controller. |
| 513 | IF Synthesizer Unlocked | IF synthesizer unlocked: A16 reference / A3 digital IF. |

| 521 | External ref missing or out of range | External reference signal missing, too low, or not at the entered frequency. |

| 6 | Align RF Skipped | RF alignment skipped because a 50 MHz signal is present at the input (warning). |
